Citizens who have an Identity Card with an electronic signature can access more than 100 digital services. Assisted self-service areas have been set up in three multifunctional centres of the Public Services Agency.
Upon arrival at a multifunctional centre, citizens can contact the information desk, where a PSA employee will guide them to the self-service area and provide the necessary support to request a range of digital services online.
During the pilot phase, individuals can request the following services in the assisted self-service areas:
✔ extract from the State Population Register;
✔ birth registration;
✔ marriage registration;
✔ replacement of a driving licence;
✔ issuance of a driving licence if the photograph in the PSA database is no more than 5 years old;
✔ international driving licence;
✔ extract from the State Register of Vehicle Drivers;
✔ online vehicle sale and purchase service.
At the same time, legal entities can access services such as:
✔ obtaining an extract from the State Register of Legal Units;
✔ registration of an independent entrepreneur (freelancer);
✔ verification and reservation of the name of a legal entity.
The pilot project of assisted self-service areas is being implemented in the following multifunctional centres: Multifunctional Centre No. 3 (Chișinău, 17 Mihail Sadoveanu St.); Multifunctional Centre No. 5 (Chișinău, 56 Alexandru cel Bun St.) and the Multifunctional Centre in Strășeni (51 B M. Eminescu St.).
The Public Services Agency plans to gradually expand these areas nationwide, so that as many citizens as possible can gain experience in accessing digital services online. Thus, in the future, citizens will be able to independently order the documents they need online, without having to visit PSA multifunctional centres.
