In accordance with the provisions of the legislation in force (art.182 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Moldova, art. 14 of Law no. 837/1996 and art. 9 of Law no. 220/2007), a public association takes part in legal relations only under its own name, indicated in the constitutive act and registered with the state registration body.
In order to comply with the legal provisions cited, the name of the legal entity shall include the legal form of organisation in the state language. Words from other languages may be used in the name; they are transcribed in Latin characters and, as a rule, are written in quotation marks.
