Protection of personal data

Information for applicants on the audit of personal data processing operations within the Public Services Agency.

Audit of personal data processing operations: process of obtaining objective information on the processing operations of personal data in information systems according to specific criteria and indicators.

Personal data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual (subject of personal data). An identifiable person is a person who can be identified, directly or indirectly, by reference to an identification number or to one or more factors specific to his or her physical, physiological, psychological, economic, cultural or social identity (Law of the Republic of Moldova no. 133/2011 on the protection of personal data).

The applicants’ requests regarding the processing of personal data shall be examined in the manner and terms established by the Law of the Republic of Moldova no. 982/2000 on access to information.

The deadlines for storing the audit data on the access of information resources through automated information systems are set for 2 years according to the Government Decision of the Republic of Moldova no.1123/2010 on approval of the Requirements for ensuring the security of personal data during their processing within the information systems of personal data.

The application form on the official website of the Public Services Agency www.asp.gov.md shall be printed, filled in, signed and sent by post: Chisinau municipality, 42 Aleksandr Puskin Street, or placed in the mail box of the central office of the Public Services Agency located at 42, Aleksandr Puskin Street, Chisinau municipality.

The applicant has the option to submit the signed digital signature application via e-mail: asp@asp.gov.md.

The answer to the request will be sent to the applicant by post mail by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt.

Please note that, in accordance with Article 19 of the Law no.133/2011 of the Republic of Moldova on protection of personal data, the National Center for Personal Data Protection is the supervisory body in respect of personal data processing.
