In the period September – October 2022 the Public Services Agency will migrate to another data personalization system with a view to switch to a new technology of issuing polycarbonate-based documents.

In this context, the institution's representatives made a working visit to Poland, to the company “Polska Wytwornia Papierow Wartosciowych”, controlled by the Polish Treasury. The “PWPW” company, specialized in the production of securities, was designated as the winner of the tender for the procurement of blank forms used for the production of documents.

During the visit the representatives of the PSA approved the final version of the document blanks to be delivered (the polycarbonate-based inner data page of the passport with an integrated chip; ID1 format polycarbonate cards).

On May 13, 2022, the Public Services Agency signed a procurement contract with the company “Polska Wytwornia Papierow Wartosciowych” for the delivery of 3 million blank forms, of which about 1,5 million are blank passport books, about 1 million are polycarbonate-based ID1 format card blanks for identity cards, the rest about 500 thousand are for other types of documents issued by the agency (driving licences, vehicle registration certificates).
